Can victoria film school eventually get me a job in hollywood? (if i got the skills obviously)?

Thanks! Can victoria film school eventually get me a job in hollywood? (if i got the skills obviously)?
Schools don't directly get you a job in Hollywood - that old saying "It's not what you know, it's who you know" is half true. The saying should really be "It's not JUST what you know, it's who you know that knows what you know!"

Basically, do your best in film school to make friends and to work hard and help people out with their film projects. If you do a good job, people will remember you, and want to work with you. Then you only need one friend to get a Hollywood job, and recommend you to their boss...

This sounds odd, but it's truly how it works. Can victoria film school eventually get me a job in hollywood? (if i got the skills obviously)?
Stephanie C's response is right on. Often it's the connections that you bring with you that gives you an employment edge. There's no such thing as an "Idol" contest for film workers in this industry.

Good luck!
